2021 Nav system now kilometers

Somehow nav system switched to using kilometers from miles. Anyone experienced this? And is there a way to change system back to using miles?

2022 TLX Type S

I have a 2022 Type S. In the middle of a trip, I noticed that distance info on the map was metric.Using the thumb wheel on the right side of the steering wheel, I scrolled to select Speed/Distance Units. It was set to US Standard. I had to scroll to Metric and press the thumb wheel to select. Then, scroll to US Standard and press the thumb wheel to select. The map changed to display US units. I've had the car for two months and this happened the first time I used the navigation system.
